PROJECT OVERVIEW

This doorway was painted to create an open portal to the Amazon rainforest.

To help with the illusion, the surrounding woodwork is all trompe l’oeil, painted to look like rough cut wood pieces. The rainforest and larger areas surrounding the door are in silhouette. This enhances the drama and prominence of the sunset and the mist.
